Image turns a declared image asset into a still video stream for logos, backgrounds and keys.

What it does#

Set data.asset to the id of an image asset declared in the Toy. The stream shows that image at its own size and never changes. It has no parameters.

When to use it#

Use it as the base of a Composite, as the backdrop behind a keyed camera, or as a logo layer.

Tips#

  • An asset id that is not declared in the Toy is rejected when it loads.
  • Video needs the browser's WebGPU video engine. The Player and exports do not run video yet and report it unavailable. To see a video output, bind a live Screen in the Frame to it.
