# Media nodes

- Media player (media.player): Plays a video asset or an open stream URL (MP4, WebM; HLS where the browser plays it natively) as one video stream with play, loop and rate controls.
- Recorder (media.recorder): Record a video stream to a file while Record is on. Audio joins when external audio buses land.
- Text to Speech (media.speech): Generate speech with ElevenLabs using your own vault key, and play the audio through the patch.
